Physical Def: The ability of the character to absorb physical damage. It is part of the equation that determined the damage of the auto attack and Physical Arts (Ether Arts are impacted by some of the later stats) and can be boosted both by levelling up and using certain gems. Strength: This number is a representation of the bodily strength of the character. Governed by both strength and equipment, it is the character's base damage capacity - without critical hits or Arts attacks, the damage the character will deal on any given attack falls between the two fixed points.
